Welcome, welcome to my newsletter!

Y’all know here I sometimes talk about my books, the farmstead or my faith in God.

It’s springtime, my favorite time of the year: flowers blooming, birds singing, garden planting, and pine pollen rolling in big, wavy, yellow balls through the air. (This actually happened a few weeks ago!)

Yes, we were all coughing, sniveling and fighting allergies! And praying for rain to wash it away.

It’s hard for me to sit and write, even though I love it, when all I want to do is be outside working around the farmstead.

But on the bright side, soon, and even now, it’s BEACH TIME!

As an avid beach goer, I’ve spent many sunshiny days on that long stretch of beach on the upper South Carolina shore called The Grand Strand. There are many beach towns up and down the coast, and I’ve been to them all. Yes, all of them!

As a ginger, my skin always rebelled. But it got tougher over time.

You can find them all here: Shop-For-Love.

The Snowflakes series chronicles a thread of faith that is passed to people through time. It changes their determination as they follow Christ, who strengthens their faith.

From Snowflakes in Nevada, a 3 books series, to 3 more books, Carolina Snowflakes. The next installment of faith coming soon will be Gulf Coast Snowflakes. You will laugh, cry and fall in love along the way as love warms your heart. Secrets will be brought to light. Is an old murder the key to the beginning of unfolding a generational tragedy? Is it possible that a guiding hand is righting old wrongs along the pages of the 9 book series, Snowflakes?

In Carolina Snowflakes, book #2, former Pastor William Gallagher, his daughter, Katie Marie and Lilly Noel’s lives converge on the balmy breezes of Myrtle Beach sand. Will and Lilly both have a secret longing deep in their hearts: a real, passionate and lasting love.

It was thrilling finding each other, and discovering they have found that love of a lifetime. Their hearts soar with hope. Until, that is, a mysterious woman with a small child appears. She has a devious plan to make sure the wings of William and Lilly’s newly found love are clipped.

Will she succeed or will an overshadowing, guiding hand bring something different?

Will William lose Katie Marie? As the Lord leads Lilly to help this woman, she may lose William, the man she has waited for her adult, feminine life.

Lilly and William learn that anything worth having is worth fighting for. But really, how deep is their love? Like some of the lyrics to the old BeeGee’s song, “How Deep is Your Love,” the enemy is always trying to break us down when people falling in love just want to be left alone.

Get ready for an emotional, page turning, and roller coaster of a read that will make you cry. It will make you laugh out loud. It will make you think differently about love, and the cost of love.

How sweet is overcoming this trial going to be for William and Lilly? The ending, with an unforeseen twist, will cause you to think differently about love.

Before In Loving Katie Marie, Lilly’s sister, LaBelle Boudreaux’s story came first on the same salt charged, balmy breezes of the opaque sands of Myrtle Beach in To Love Thine Enemy.

In To Love Thine Enemy, book #1 of Carolina Snowflakes, LaBelle Noel Boudreaux’s faith is ebbing low.

Her broken heart has her wondering if the tragedy surrounding her first husband, Chase, whom she once fiercely loved, will overshadow her life forever. She always believed, “God’s love conquers all!” But LaBelle’s faith in love has been sorely tested at the death of Chase on a battlefield overseas.

Then J. P. Emanuel appeared. He has the answers to the healing of her tragedy and a safe future for her son, Charlie Chase. But one thing is apparent, LaBelle sees J. P. has been preconditioned with lies to despise her.

How can she convince this soldier, a buddy of Chase’s who was with him in the moments of Chase’s death on the battlefield, how much she needs the answers inside him?

From tragedy to triumph can love finally conquer all as LaBelle and J. P. struggle to discover forgiveness and a peace in the heart that passes all understanding.

This story will grip your heart and keep the turning pages as LaBelle and J. P. both mine deep in their heart to find that priceless gem, a shining love that can illuminate them to truly believe that love can conquer all. If only they will give in to love’s embrace.

One reviewer stated:  I actually cried at the end, which I rarely do when reading a book. Great job, Della!
