Della’s Newsletter: Snowflakes Anyone?

Hello everyone, and no, I don’t think it’s Christmas! 🙂

It’s been awhile. This month has been squirrelly at the homestead. I’ve been writing like crazy creating a whole new series of clean and wholesome romances. All while trying to wrangle a rogue fox that has outsmarted me for weeks. He has picked off a few of my chickens. I know he has to eat too, but I’m mad. I’ll write about that later. If any of you have experience with foxes after your chickens, please put your wisdom in the comment section. I would greatly appreciate it!

As you can tell, this is not my sub-stack, Out of the Wild Blue Yonder!

And, it has been off and on cool and hot here in S.C. Fall has started, Autumn to some people, and rain has been scarce. But, that’s a good thing for the farmers harvesting their crops, especially corn. Low moisture content is a time to harvest. But, that is for homestead news.

This is about my series, Snowflakes

You can find them all here on my Shop-For-Love page where I showcase each one individually. Some you can read a FREE preview. You can click any and all and go straight to Amazon and get all six. I have reduced them for a short time, so hurry over and get yours while they are discounted.

Back to my Snowflakes!

The first thing I’d like to say is this: The series entitled, Snowflakes, is not political in any way. Nor is it derogatory in any way towards anyone at all.

Okay, that being said, this series is Christian themed and Christian based. The main characters are Christians trying to live their lives through a Christian world view. I myself, as a devoted Christ follower, knows full well that this is not an easy task. It takes exercising courage and faith, almost daily.

From the first Snowflakes book to the sixth book (and 3 more to come) it has been my heart’s desire to showcase unique, and individual characters, snowflakes, if you will. No two shivery, bold and beautiful snowflakes are formed exactly alike. How cool is that?

For an example, God made me. He broke the mold. There is not another Della, a me kind of Della. When I began to understand that, I began to understand how much God really, not only loved me, but knew me! God knew me? Little ole farm girl Della from the sticks? Wow! How could that be? It changed my life. Check this out!

I did not grow up going to church. I did not even know what church was until I was probably nine or ten years old. I did not know God loved me. I did not know this: Matthew wrote, 10:30 NIV, And even the very hairs of your head are numbered. And then Luke 12:7 says, Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

So yes, we are like snowflakes, unique, one-of-a-kind, individual and God intimately knows each one of us. He created us, he knows us and He loves us. But unlike shivery, bold and beautiful snowflakes, we are warm, unique children created by God, and He loves us. This is how much:

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall have everlasting life.

In my books, my unique characters go through trials, and in these trials they not only find romance and love, they learn something about themselves as they grow closer to God. But as in life, they have choices to make, as we all do as we walk a walk of faith, learning to depend on God and the salvation Christ wrought on that old wooden cross. I turn to it daily.

If you like to read clean, wholesome stories, sweet romances where you can laugh and find a few tender places to shed a heartfelt tear, you will love the Snowflakes stories. From the dust of Nevada where cowboys and cowgirls, through faith and forgiveness, wrangle a special love, to the hot sands of Myrtle Beach where a family learns, through faith, to heal from abuses of the past, while falling in love with a someone special, these Snowflakes stories will keep you turning the pages.

And if you, like me, love happy endings, you will find them here in a mess of abundance that will thrill you with heartwarming satisfaction!

From Snowflakes in Nevada to Snowflakes in the Carolinas, you will travel a road of faith that caught fire in one family in, The Love of the Caretaker, and burned through six books, the sixth one being, Watercolors of Unsung Love! That same spark of faith is reignited in Gulf Coast Snowflakes coming at a future date.

Once again, find them here on my Shop-For-Love page. Buy them now while they are discounted!

Follow me on my Contact page. It will only take a minute! Drop your comments. Authors like me love to hear from our readers. You will be a voice of encouragement. I would sincerely love to hear from you, yes, each and every one of you. Even if you only say, “Hi!”

Remember, you are wonderfully created by God! He knows you. He only made one of you. Take care of yourself. Your spirit and your body, together, are one living soul. Please take care of both. 🙂

And be careful, these stories of love, faith and romance, may just strengthen YOUR faith and fill your heart with hope! From my heart to yours, I hope they do!

See you next time.

Love, faith and prayers from Romance & the Homestead!
