Hey everyone!
My last Out of the Wild Blue Yonder newsletter was War of Words of the Worlds I. I began all the way back to the beginning, Genesis, to the Garden of Eden to where the War of Words between God, man and Satan (the adversary) began. Satan drew Adam and Eve into his sin-spin and made them doubt the word of God. You can read it here:
In this article, War of the Worlds II, I want to share where God took me next in the lesson he gave me about a War of Words around ten years ago when I had to give a devotion to a group in the church I was attending at that time.
Now you can track all through the Old Testament where Satan lied to people: Cain, Jezebel and Ahab, who was the king and queen of Israel at the time. Plus a lot of other kings of Israel. The “war of words” between God, man and Satan was never ending.
But where I want to move quickly to in this article, is in Matthew chapter 4:1-11 where Jesus went into the wilderness to fast and pray for 40 days and nights.
WHEN YOU READ THESE SCRIPTURES, THINK ABOUT THE WAR OF WORDS!

This is a war of words! Satan trying to cloud the truth with his sin-spin on it to make Jesus doubt.

Satan tempted Jesus 3 times. What he tempted him with was odd, don’t you think? He wanted him to turn stones into bread to eat and end his fast too soon. He wanted Jesus to obey him, by tempting Jesus with one of the things Jesus already was, but was going to be known for forever: THE BREAD OF LIFE and the stone that the builders rejected; the corner stone.
Satan wanted to draw Jesus into a war of words where he thought he would win. Not so Satan! Jesus reminded Satan that God’s WORD is always true. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but be every word from the mouth of God.”
Jesus did not fall for Satan’s sin-spin lies. He held strong.
Then Satan tempted him with death and resurrection. Something else that was who Jesus was, and was going to be known for thoughout time and eternity.
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”
In your face, Satan! Jesus did not have to prove who he was to Satan. Neither do we. He only had to obey God, as we all do. Jesus is THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE! And we, through accepting Jesus, are part of that resurrection. Hallelujah to the power of God!!
And then Satan, using words as a weapon, did this: 8 Again, the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Satan tempted Jesus by offering him all the nations of the world. But all the nations, people, of the world ultimately belong to God. Jesus knew what he had to do for his Father, God. He had to go to the cross and die for humanity’s sins. Why? Because Jesus is this: 1. THE BREAD OF LIFE, 2. THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE, AND 3. KING OF KING AND LORD OF LORDS!
All power was given unto Jesus. Every word he spoke came from God, the Father and is our Bread of Life. Jesus never once misspoke because he always spoke what God told him to. In death, he became fully the resurrection and the life. In resurrection, he became King of all the worlds for all time. In Jesus we will all be resurrected into our eternal life with God the Father, the son Jesus and Holy Spirit.
JESUS IS LORD!
Satan aborted his own life in God and through temptation with a WAR OF WORDS in your mind, he desperately wants us/you to abort your/our life, the life God created you for, a happy servant of God, before God is finished with you. Satan tempts us all, as he tempted Jesus, with the work God has planned for you, for your life in Jesus. Satan wanted Jesus to abort his life before Jesus even started his work of the cross for God on earth. Satan wants us all, through temptations, to abort our life in God before it is finished here on earth. When I say this I mean, God has created everyone and everything on earth to do what it/we are created to do.
What did God create you to do? Have you ever asked him?
Here is some food for thought: God created them, Adam and Eve, and put them in a home, The Garden of Eden, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply!” In other words, build a home, get married, have babies and include me in that home! Sounds simple, huh?
This is the main thing God created mankind for, as his servants: find a husband or wife, get married and have a family.
Look out at the world today and see what Satan is waging war against: The Word of God! His command to be fruitful and multiply. Satan hates families.
As you think about it, consider getting my book I wrote a few years back. It is a “handbook of hope for the home.” In it I share how I learned to listen to the voice of God and restore my family that was broken, and a few truths I learned along the way.

Okay, everyone, thanks for stopping in. And I hope you enjoyed the War of Words of the Worlds II.
