Who’s on the Lord’s side…come on…

“Anything God can do, I can do better! I can do everything better than Him!”

I ask you, “Can you imagine Satan, the devil formerly named Lucifer, the ‘dawn bringer,’ chanting this as his mantra, his logo of propaganda, his lies, trying with his fake powers to get people to believe he is more powerful than God?”

“Well…I can believe he would do this. He is the devil, the liar, and original sinner,” you tell me.

“Okay, then,” I reply, “welcome to the third chapter in this series entitled:

Dispensations, Divisions, and The Kingdom of God III

“Well…we’re moving on past Noah and his family to his children’s children and beyond. We come to a man called Abraham, who had a son called Isaac. Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. A lot went on between the two brothers. But for the next great division in this dispensation of time, we’ll be talking about Jacob, whom God renamed Israel. He had twelve sons, and as the story goes, they wound up as slaves in the mighty empire of Egypt. God had promised their forefather Abraham that when they did, he was going to send them a deliverer. He did, and his name was Moses.

“So here comes Moses and he does deliver them from the ironclad fist of Pharaoh with all the plagues. Then he lead them through the sea that parted for them to walk across on dry land.”

“Yeah,” you say, “I know that story. I see this dispensation of time. But where is the great divide come into play. Was it God dividing them out of Egypt?”

“No,” I answer. “Even though God did deliver and divide them from Egypt, the dispensation divide came later. You see, these were God’s own chosen people. He first chose Abraham and took him from the land he grew up in, the land of Er of the Chaldees and lead him to a different land. Abraham didn’t know where he was going, just that he followed God each day until God told him, “This is Canaan, the land that I’m giving you and your children, which will be as innumerable as the stars in the heaven, and as the sand of the seashores.

“Well…Moses and the children of Israel were part of that promise. But to understand this dispensation and division, and what Satan was doing here, I have to give you a little backstory about him, the old devil, that old dragon, Satan.”

“A backstory?” you ask. “We’ve come straight from heaven to earth, to the garden and beyond. What back story is left?”

“Good point. Glad you brought up the garden. Because in the Garden of Eden where innocence reigned  and sin had not yet been conceived, there was a tree. This tree was aptly named, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, where the snake hung out. We know this story and how the forbidden fruit was plucked off and eaten. Then came the word of the Lord in the cool of the evening and had Adam and Eve to come out of hiding. They confessed of their sin, disobedience. Well, sort of.

“But sin they had, so God had to carry out the punishment he had warned them would happen. Adam would now have to work by the sweat of his brow. Eve would bear children in pain and sorrow. But the snake, old Satan himself, who was behind the breach, God made him a promise-punishment. Let’s read it.”

Genesis 3:14-15 (KJV)
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

“Now, old Satan heard a very solid promise of God: There was coming a seed of the woman that was going to bruise his head!! When Eve had Cain and Abel, he Lucifer, now Satan, had to wonder if it would be one of them. Abel seemed the most righteous, as God even called him righteous. So what did Satan do? He caused Cain to kill his brother, Abel. But time went on, and Satan realized Abel was not the promised seed. So Satan, through the dispensation of time keep trying to kill special men in hopes he would get the right one. You see, God never told Satan the true name of that promised seed of the woman.”

“So,” you interrupt, “Satan didn’t know Jesus was coming?”

“He knew someone was coming. But he didn’t know when or who it would be. But he could sense when someone special was going to be born, and he tried to kill him, even by killing a generation of babies. When it was time for Moses, the deliverer to be born, Satan came against the Egyptians to kill all the new born males.”

Exodus 1:15-16 (KJV)
15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: 16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

“But God caused Moses to grown up right under Satan and Pharoah’s nose, who, by the way, claimed he was God, just as Satan wants to be.”

“Just goes to show you God is Sovereign,” you say.

“Absolutely!” I agree vehemently. “But to get back to Moses and this great divide, we have to move along to Pharaoh’s army now drowned in the Red Sea. The Israelites have traveled to the great Mt. Sinai and Moses is on the mountain fasting and praying for forty days. God carves out a set of tables and with His finger writes on these stones his Ten Commandments.

“But while he is up there, Satan is at a diabolical work with a few people, lying to them that Moses isn’t coming down. They were better off in Egypt. Satan caused them to murmur and complain, even giving them a dissenting leader. He was a little more subtil this time. They wouldn’t worship him directly, but through an Egyptian idol, a golden calf, that Aaron, Moses’s brother crafted as the people pressured him to.

“Then Moses came down and found them worshiping the idol and not God, threw down the tables, breaking them. While they still partied, worshiping the idol, Moses broke the golden calf, ground it to powder and sprinkled it on the water. And here comes the great divide. God told Moses to call out to the people:

Exodus 32:26 (KJV)
26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Then God showed Moses to tell the Levites to strap their swords on and go throughout the encampment and slay all those still reveling, (partying) worshiping basically, Satan. Remember, Satan’s plan is to get us to kill each other, because he is a spirit, not flesh, he cannot literally kill us, only make us HATE each other enough that WE will KILL EACH OTHER. HATE being the operative word here. Listen to what Jesus said:

1 John 3:14-15 (KJV)
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

And this:

Mark 12:31 (KJV)
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

“Satan caused this divide in this dispensation of time, the time of the Israelites as a nation governed by God and His own laws of The Kingdom of God coming down to mankind.”

“I see this now. Satan is causing the divides in each dispensation of time. And division, hate, and death follow him, Satan wherever he goes.”

“Yes! Absolutely right. God is calling people to come out of Satan’s darkness and sin sick nature, and into the light of God’s love and forgiveness.”

Now, the Lord gave me a “word” less than six months before this posting. He told me the flux was coming. I didn’t know what it was, but as I delved into this meaning, it simply means the flux built up over our eyes, like a metal crust, is being broken and blown away. Not just to see things going on around us better, but first for us to look at ourselves, and reflect on our own thoughts and behavior. Remember what the Lord said? No? Let’s visit his words again.

Matthew 6:21 (KJV)
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

So, where are our hearts today?

Where was Abram’s (Abraham’s) heart? His heart was stayed upon the Lord his God, and to do God’s will. He left everything and almost everyone he knew and wandered to a foreign land, not knowing where he would end up.

Where was Moses’s heart? His heart was stayed upon the Lord his God, and also God’s people Israel, to do the Lord’s will. His goal was to help God deliver God’s people and get them to the promised land.

These ancient men of God gave their all, living by faith, guided by the Lord, to accomplish God’s will for mankind on the earth. Satan tried many times to thwart God’s plan, but he miserably failed! God WILL accomplish HIS will on the EARTH despite Satan’s evil chaos he tried to perpetrate against God. Remember, Satan’s war is against God, we’re just his pawns if we let him use us.

For our take away point in this chapter, you have to ask yourself this, “Who’s on the Lord’s side, come on over!” Whose side are you on? God’s? Satan’s?

There is only two sides: Remember The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

God is good. Satan is evil.

So… Who’s on the Lord’s side, come on over!

As you reflect on yourself, ask yourself this: Who or what is trying to divide me away from God, my heavenly Father?

Who’s on the Lord’s side…come on…

Dispensations, Divisions, and The Kingdom of God I

I’m asking you, “Ever wanted to understand Lucifer better? In understanding Lucifer better, do you think you could possibly understand yourself better?”

“Lucifer,” you sputter in outrage back at me. “I’m nothing like Lucifer, that terrible creature. How could you ask such a thing?”

“Well…” I answer back a little hesitantly, not wanting to offend you. “This is something the Lord has been giving me over time, about the ‘DIVIDES’ of the ‘DISPENSATIONS’ and how it relates to us, the church, and who’s side are you on. So, would you like to know how these dispensations and divides halo the love and power of God, and how The Kingdom of God works?”

“You would?!” I exclaim, after you give me the nod to go on! “Well okay then, this might seem a little long but well worth it in the end! So let us begin by exploring the first of these dispensations and its divides, and what caused it. This first dispensation of time and it’s division was before earth and man, yet at the same time it leads to me, us–you and me, and every person ever created for life on planet earth.

“To understand this first dispensation of time and divide, we–you and me–have to get Biblical, go way back before the time-spin of the earth later on. We have to loosen our minds from the boundaries of our flesh and think spiritual since God is a spirit and so are His angels, neither of which are confined, have to bow down to, or are limited by our earth-bound minds.

“So now that we are thinking spiritual, seeing spiritual, let’s imagine that time of God and his angels. Everything was just as God created. Everybody was in their places, perfectly carrying out God’s plans by each and every angelic being for the betterment of his kingdom, The Kingdom of God. Then… what?  God, for the first time, felt a schism in  the kingdom. And He instantly knew where it was coming from as he felt that fracture, the beginnings of that first divide. ‘Lucifer,’ he thought, deep in his heart, ‘Lucifer, what are you doing? I created you in love, in beauty, in wisdom…what are you doing?’ But he knew, and it was breaking his heart. Lucifer had set himself against his father…God, and was sinning, committing crimes against God’s Kingdom.

“Yes, the first divide was created by…none other than…drum rolls…the archangel Lucifer, or ‘light bringer,’ which is what Lucifer means. In the Greek, ‘dawn bringer.’ Lucifer walked up and down among the fiery, precious stones; different Bible translations call them different names. So I will ‘loosely’ define them: red carnelian (sardius, or could be a ruby,) pale-green peridot (KJV topaz,) white moonstones (KJV diamonds,) emeralds, blue-green beryl, onyx, green jasper, blue lapis lazuli (KJV sapphire,) turquoise (KJV carbuncle.)

Ezekiel 28:13-15 (KJV)
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

“It appears he was beautiful, perfect in all his ways, until iniquity was found in him.”

“What iniquity…sin…crimes against The Kingdom of God did he do?” you ask.

Ezekiel 28:16-17 (KJV)

16: By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17: Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

“Can you explain Lucifer’s iniquity a little better?” you ask.

“Pride, he puffed himself up with pride that lead to a lust for power, not the power he had already been given by God, but to sit in power over the congregation of God. In other words, he wanted to replace God. But first, Lucifer divided himself.

“How could he do that?” you ask.

“Let’s explore that thought and I will try to explain it to you to the best of my ability.”
